Prosser Community Volunteers

The Purpose of the Prosser Community Volunteers is to provide opportunities for individuals from churches, civic organizations, schools, the hospital, and the community to work more closely together in providing Christlike service.

The Goals of the Prosser Community Volunteers include:

  • Building positive relationships within the community
  • Build relationships between churches, community leaders, schools, the hospital and community organizations
  • Providing charitable Christlike service to meet community needs
  • Matching service projects with volunteers and managing/scheduling projects (full meal deal)
  • Fostering unity within our community

How Does It Work?

Volunteers will work together on projects that have been screened and approved by the” leadership team”. The screening criteria used to evaluate potential projects and recipients have been developed by the “leadership team” chosen from the volunteers themselves. Examples of projects would include but not be limited to community and individual service projects, food drives, helping the needy, and building ramps for handicapped people.
